From April 15-17, 2025, Vegastar Technology proudly participated in the 4th Partnering for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030 (P4G) Summit in Hanoi, Vietnam. The event brought together over 1,700 delegates from more than 40 countries and international organizations, including leaders, representatives of governments, international organizations, scholars, experts, and global and regional businesses, under the theme “Sustainable Green Transformation Centered on People.”
P4G 2025 Summit: A Convergence of Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Development
The P4G Summit 2025 in Hanoi marked a significant milestone, showcasing Vietnam’s strong commitment to promoting green growth and sustainable development. Established in 2017 based on an initiative by the Danish government, P4G evolved from the Global Green Growth Forum (3GF). Recognized as a leading global platform for fostering public-private partnerships, P4G connects governments, businesses, and socio-political organizations to discuss and propose breakthrough solutions for green growth, contributing to the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year’s summit focused on five key themes: Energy, Water, Food and Agriculture, Urban Development, and Circular Economy—critical pillars of the global sustainable development strategy. Within the summit’s framework, Vegastar Group made a remarkable impact through a series of professional activities and partnership engagements, solidifying its position as a pioneering Vietnamese enterprise in technology for sustainable development.
VegaCosmos at Pitch Day: A Breakthrough in Smart Agriculture
On April 15, during the Pitch Day session dedicated to innovative startups in sustainable agriculture, VegaCosmos—a member of the Vegastar Group—introduced its smart agriculture solution integrating remote sensing, AI, and IoT. Designed to optimize operations for both farmers and supply chain managers, VegaCosmos’ solution features an intuitive interface, automated satellite imagery processing, market connectivity, and crop risk analysis.
GEOHUB at the Ministerial Discussion: Vietnamese Technology Addressing Global Challenges
Ms. Lê Thanh Hương, CEO of Vegastar Technology, was honored to speak at the Ministerial Discussion session themed “Breakthrough Technologies for Green Transformation and Sustainable Development in the Smart Era,” one of the summit’s most significant events. In her address, Ms. Hương emphasized the critical role of accessible technology in green transformation and introduced GEOHUB—a geospatial AI platform developed by Vegastar to overcome technical barriers in adopting technology for green transitions.
Unlike traditional geospatial data platforms, GEOHUB is a comprehensive open-source system, integrating data collection from Earth observation, semi-automated processing, AI-driven analysis, and smart reporting tailored to P4G’s five key themes. Designed to be user-friendly for non-experts, GEOHUB bridges the gap between complex data and practical action. The platform has processed hundreds of terabytes of data, effectively addressing challenges in agriculture, water resources, renewable energy, urban development, and circular economy.
GEOHUB garnered significant attention beyond the summit. An article in ICT Vietnam highlighted the platform as an exemplary model of open data, AI, and remote sensing applied to sustainable development. Similarly, an analysis in Thanh Tra Newspaper recognized GEOHUB as a viable solution for overcoming technical barriers in green transformation, particularly for developing countries.
