On July 11, 2025, at the headquarters of Vegastar Technology Co., Ltd. (Vegastar), located at 37 Thi Sach Street, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi, a significant meeting and strategic cooperation exchange took place between Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG) and Vegastar. This event marked a pivotal milestone in fostering collaboration between the two entities.

The meeting opened up promising prospects for connecting academia and industry, aiming to promote research and the application of technology in the fields of geology, geodesy, and space technology in Vietnam.

The event began with a warm welcome for the delegates and the screening of an introductory video about Hanoi University of Mining and Geology and Vegastar. Following this, Ms. Le Thanh Huong, Chairwoman of Vegastar Group, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Trieu Hung Truong, Vice Rector of HUMG, delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between the two parties in the context of current technological and scientific advancements.

Future Cooperation Directions
During the discussion, both sides focused on key cooperation directions, including collaboration in scientific research, developing specialized training programs in geodesy, cartography, and geospatial technology, as well as creating internship and job opportunities for HUMG students at Vegastar. The meeting concluded with a souvenir exchange ceremony and a group photo, followed by a tour of Vegastar’s headquarters, allowing HUMG representatives to gain a firsthand understanding of the company’s operations and technologies.

Both HUMG and Vegastar expressed strong consensus on the initial cooperation directions and committed to further discussions to finalize plans in the near future.
