On April 18, 2025, Vegastar Group was honored to participate in the seminar “Space Science and Technology Supporting Socio-Economic Development of Hai Phong City,” organized by the Hai Phong City Department of Science and Technology in collaboration with the Vietnam Space Center – Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology. This significant event aimed to promote research and application of space technology in key sectors of Hai Phong City, facilitate knowledge and experience exchange among experts, researchers, businesses, and students, and outline the future development of space science and technology.
The seminar attracted nearly 100 delegates from various departments, agencies, districts, and counties, as well as directors and units under the Department of Science and Technology, enterprises, research institutes, and universities.
At the seminar, Vegastar Group showcased pioneering space technologies applied to civilian sectors, supporting scientific and technological projects and addressing practical challenges in daily life.
A standout highlight of the seminar was the introduction and demonstration of Vegastar’s GEOHUB system, a multi-disciplinary geospatial data management, storage, exploitation, and sharing platform. The GEOHUB intelligent geospatial platform simplifies user access to and management of geospatial data, offering AI-powered data analysis tools and rapid reports to support decision-making processes.
Additionally, Ms. Lê Thanh Hương, Chairman of Vegastar Group, presented the demand for space technology human resources in the context of development trends in Vietnam and globally. She introduced the Vega Space & Geospatial Academy, collaboration opportunities, and the VegaCubeSat Training KIT model.
The VegaCubeSat Training KIT enables students, enthusiasts, and learners to explore satellites, their structure, and operations, sparking passion for space science and technology exploration while fostering future digital citizenship.
Within the framework of the seminar, Vegastar, alongside other representatives, discussed human resource development and the role of the private sector in Vietnam’s space technology field, opening up new collaboration opportunities for young, high-quality talent.
